Man, was this an awesome race last nite! I had a blast with you guys again. Couldnt ask for a better club. I was excited to make it to the 3rd round. Wasnt even expecting to make it pass the 1st round.
And thanks for all the help Kevin! You are really helping me learn these T-Jets! Guys, Kevin is a Stand-Up fellow. Hes been letting me carpool with him to these events, and teaching me everything about racing T-Jets. Hes a true ambassador of this sport.

Great looking Dragstrip and man..... check out all of those T-jets!  Looks like a great place to hangout and race. Bus Grudge match?  |

Thanks Blake, we enjoy new guys comming out, keeps the club keep fresh and we all can still learn a thing or two.
Also I'll pass the complments on to Greg he will be pleased. Lonnie, as well as Greg both cut a mean light and both will be driving your Gassers in July, and August, along with Tim Ranch, and another Top Gun from our club....to be named later. I am going to shoot photos and enjoy the event.

I accidentaly deleted the wrong post so I will try once more....dang PC Greg Skeletons new HOHRA Drag strip....a 1/4 mi, in 1/87 scale with a cool return lane. the track is T Jet...O Gage, and runs seamlessly Start to finish.    If you notice the display cases Greg has one of every T Jet made, in every color combination, Greg will tell he is missing some, and still finds one to add every once and a while.  Also you should see Greg's 6 lane T Jet road / Bent D Oval track, the Snake Pit.  And now the happy winners.....  The winner Lonnie on the left goes by thunder wreck on Psycho, and the runner up Greg Skeleton on the right. Lonnie won the custom Parma Controller Sam painted in the first SS race, as a prize for best driver. We lost a track last year, so Greg is the 3rd Drag strip in our rotation, the Dogs will be the 4th, in August after the Gasser race. |
