Very nice. I always pick up ideas form your biulds. I've got a very similar body sitting on 4gear that I'm working on,slowly working on. One question, where did the front wheels come from? I've got a rail and three altered projects in various stages and I'm looking for some front wheels like the ones on your Mighty Mouse.

The Dog regulary checks the Hot Wheels isle at all the local discount stores for any Diecast with usable parts. Here is the one I got the wheels off of.... Dog on Hot Wheels for making the engine out of metal but I still scored one of the coolest sets of wire wheels you will ever find on a diecast. I have to add, fellow NITRO, and local drag racer found 5 of these at Big Lots and grabed them for the Dog, very cool Ford Cowboy THANKS. If you look you can sometimes get whole plastic engines from diecasts GOOD LUCK HUNTING !

VERY nice Kdog! I too am glad to see you back! Yep, you'd be surprised the stuff that can be found on diecasts. There is also a GREAT looking set of wires to use on early rails and Altered's that Johnny Lighning did. These came in the "Customizing Kit's" that they offered. VERY hard to find too. I actually have one set on my Fiat Altered (which I just got batteries for my camera, so watch for pics soon). Those 'customizing kits' came with a body or two, 3 or so sets of wheels and tires, a few different motors, sometimes even body parts as options. Mine was a T-bucket, so naturally the front 'bicycle wheels' were in there. But the ones Kdog used here I think are a little more 'accurate' to use on Altereds. FYI..I STILL have a TON of diecasts and parts left over from my diecast customizing days (probly close to 5 or 10 THOUSAND cars! ) Altho, I know I don't have any wheels like these in there! Guess a trip to Big Lots may be in order tomorrow! of course, I'll wait until LATER in the day....LOL. No need to fight the Black Friday crowds! Again..GREAT job Kdog! Now ya got ME wanting to build one of these! ;D Whatcha think guys...anybody up for building some EARLY "Rail Jobs"? All you'd need is the chassis and wheels, some sheet plastic for a body, some form of plastic motor from a diecast, and some rod/tubing for the frame 'extensions' on the front and the wheelie bars!

EARLY rail jobs!?!?!? Now that could be interesting! Looks like I'm going to have to be looking harder for some front wheels. I've been looking for something suitable be no luck so far.
