On the question of using Dash bonded magnets with four gear chassis:
As no significant advantage is to be gained by using Dash magnets, it shall be legal to use Dash magnets with the non-magnatraction chassis only, when submitting entry to a NFC(4G) Class event. As it cannot be demonstrated nor determined that Dash has magnets available for the four gear magnatraction chassis, use of anything other than Aurora/AW ceramic type magnets for the four gear magnatraction chassis shall be considered illegal for the NFC(4G) Class. Secondly, as this class is intended as a stock type class, use of cross typing chassis parts is forbidden. This applies to parts that are made for specific chassis use. Most specifically with regards to magnets. Magnets intended for non-magnatraction chassis shall only be used in non-magnatraction chassis. Same is to be said of magnatraction sized magnets and magnatraction chassis.
This ruling is directly applied to the rules of the NFC(4G) Class and effective immediately. The section of the rules which currently read:
Motor Magnets: Any Aurora / AW ceramic magnets.
Shall be made to read:
Motor Magnets: Any Aurora / AW ceramic magnets; Dash (T-Jet) magnets allowed when used with four gear non-magnatraction chassis.
