Having pursued answers through research and input from the experienced to the question concerning Stock Class T-Jet wheels and
tires, the following conclusions have been reached:
Wheels – Following the NTRA Final of 2010, it was decided by general consensus that “only original Aurora T-jet rims and MEV
replacements will be legal for Stock in future NTRA races”. This agreement shall be recognized as the legal specification for wheels of
Stock Class T-Jet. As such, the wording shall be appropriately applied to the Stock T-Jet rules. Also to be included are the words,
“double flange derlin wheels strictly forbidden”.
Tires – Here is a list of tires known to be legal for Stock ClassT-Jet. The listing here is partial and is subject to amendment upon
discovery of other products that fit the current legal wheel(s) considered legal for use as Stock Class T-Jet tires. This listing is in no way
complete. Specifications listed in the Stock T-Jet rules should be your guide when choosing a tire other than listed.
