New Nova Doorslammer ready to hit the paint booth! Looks good! I used to race a Nova back in the 90s.

Got busy this past weekend and cranked out another mold. Used a new silicone rubber for the first time. Here is first article out of the mold. Needs a little light trimming but the surface came out very smooth and shiny!

Thanks Flat. Tried doing molds about two years ago. Became a hobby within a hobby! Now have over 75 molds on the shelf. Lots of trial and error but have now got my procedure and materials down pretty good. Also got some tips from a couple of very helpful casters here on Nitro.
Need to start building some chassis to put the bodies on!!!

Hey Alan did you consider extending the nose of the Camaro for the real funny car look? I did one a couple years ago from an old AFX Camaro. Stored the mold away and now I can't find it.
