I like the basic, primered look but they went a little overboard on the "cartoonish" affect with the headers and blower.
Not ugly as sin...but just getting a little too "stoopid" in my opinion.

I like the pipes. If I had to see something change, I would get some rear fenders put back on. Here is another pic of the original H & M. Pic from Hot Rod.com

Here's two more shots, including a full look at the header. Not to nudge the voting one way or another, but those headers were desisned for function, (remember these guys were Chrysler engineers....[read: "hot rod geeks"] ) , not for looks. If one was to model a 'suggestion' of the car using a forty six Ford, the most outstanding feature ( besides the elevation) has to be the pipes! Speaking of elevation, check the vertical extension of the highhhhhhhhhhhhhhh rise intake system!

I hope to build a 'sort of repilca of this car some time......more a "tribute' car. The 46 ford may do as a stand in or maybe the 1953 chevy from Mead bros.
