As soon our final gear order arrives, in a few weeks, we'll be selling off the chassis. The T-Dash will be no more. Not sure if the EVO will ever see the light of day. We may still make some parts. The slimline mags are still going to be here in a few weeks.
I knew I was asking for trouble a few years ago when I took this on. the mandate that it be cross compatible with Aurora was a total farce, no one cares about that, except for maybe wheelbase.
If I had to do it over again, I wouldn't have done it at all.
There may still be a Tyco chassis project in the works. The parts alone are fewer, assembly is easier... There are many older Tyco bodies that are begging to be remade, and are sitting here on my desk waiting for me to pull the trigger...
I'm hoping and praying that the slimline magnets revive that chassis. I have the Hot Rod truck and F1 cars sitting here, and I'm itching to adapt the Hot Wheels Watson Roadster to the slimmie...

Sam, he makes mountian out of molehill.
I corrected him on a diamond dust gear lapping compound and he went haywire.
he is just looking for attention.
and, please, don't be afriad to point out that I am the culprit for his latest hissy fit.
he cannot quit, he has taken too much investment money that he cannot pay back

I just read through all the posts on FB. To your credit there is one mention of "AL". I apologize if you felt I posted this to attack you, it was not my intent. Like I posted, I was just letting everyone know what was going on.

I know your post was simply informational
but, the thread on SCI is going to be read by many and I just want folks to know my part in that.
believe me, I do not want to see Dan quit .... nor do I think he will.
however his announcement has caused a run on the t-dash chassis and nearly all the distributors are out of them.
now the fortune seekers will begin to capitalize by selling them at greatly inflated prices.
I am glad I bought mine long ago.
