what voltage should I be running 4 gear cars at?

I have run all my cars at 20V with no part failures until I get to the extremely fast ones.
The 4 gears hold up OK at that voltage with no problems when stock. Even running them with 6 ohm arms they hold up OK and that includes the weak crown gear. When you start to run very low ohm arms, or running hot arms at 26 Volts, is when they start tearing up gears and you have to switch to brass gears.
