The SUPERSTOCK NATIONALS are on a good footing to be a very successful event!! We are thankful for all the input from all racers, all the back scenes work, the sponsors, the well -wishers, and the nay sayers
here is an open letter to anyone who cares to read it,including the NTRA BOARD
EVERYBOdY has an opinion, here my few pennies
I personally rate the Gassers a GREAT success and speaking
unofficically I fully expect them back! Superstock is going well and is s a wonderful "jump In" class for newbies and die hard Superstock fans. I hope that class to be available at every meet in generates entry's.
The classes I see available under sportsman heading are:
Prostock. JL based chassis as they are widely available and have many tweaks in place and they are after all, 'Factory versions"
Funny Car. These would be MEAD bros BASED cars or homebuild up. Early Funny car was wild and strange. Guys 'Funnied' all kinds of cars! Perhaps incorporating an existing chassis design??
Id LOVE to see a very wide open style-wise RATT RODD class.
Let your imagination run free into suede RODDS pimstripes scallop, flathead engines fuzzy dice, right along with "house painted 32 Deuces and UNPAINTED 40 fords etc... lots of fun and imagination there. I wonder if anyone agrees.
A class that I think is super Hott is modern day Pro Mod. Wild wild cars that look somewhat like vintage GASSERS on drugs, and running nitro. Almost anything can be promodded. All that most require is fenders on a doorslammer chassis Do a search on Pro Mod pics if you doubt me. I think these cars are a specialized taste, and really should be the FAStest on the track. Maybe some hotter arms and magnets for guys who want to spend some and go faster I am sure it would be a small but intense group..
Perhaps a loosely intepreted 'invitational" field......I would think a guy could get in by asking provided he know what the costs are likely to be.
Of course I would like to see such a class presented before the eliminations much like an NHRA Shootout, for braggin rights..
is there ANY interest in dragsters?? Should ALL classes be SPORTSMAn?? lots to chew on here so begin to chew!!!

it all sounds good to me i really like the idea of pro mods and pro stock pro mods with big motors gets my blood going 
just give me time in between races
