I sold any funny cars I had. Only had a few 4 gears left, had to send in some Pro stockers.

I have been trying to build a new chassis for the old reliable 55 PSO. Did not think it would be so tough to be able to at least match the old dog's times. Using all the latest magnets, 5.5 arms, brushes etc. and I still can't match it. Guess that's why it was named Old reliable. That chassis has been running for almost 10 years now with all the same components except brushes. Managed to click off one 29 MPH pass with the new chassis, but the ET is elusive.

Quite a selection of cars you have driven/owned there Rick! 55 Chevy is my favorite.

Jeff, just noticed you changed your track around. Grandstands, return road, near a wall now, etc. Looks good!

Christine has been to Bear Creek before. We have a special place for her away from everybody so she can't make trouble. Some kind of cage is recommended.

I had planned on running this upside-down Vette at the upcoming race, but it seems to have had an unfortunate accident. Looks like Christine will take its place. Sorry about that. Christine in action

Detroit was once the auto capital of the world. Now it's a ghost town. I had the unfortunate privilege of visiting Detroit back in the late 80s. Bad experience then, now it's much worse.

Thanks, the red 69 is a model of a full-size Camaro I had. Thanks to EC Bill for finding that, mine was a 68. Had a big M 632 in it with a single 4 ran 9.17 in the 1/4 and mid 8s with a 200 shot. 68 wheelie

Sure is tougher now Jeff. We used to battle for top spot with .59-.60. Now I see all the PSO guys have stepped up their game, nice going and glad to see it. Good show guys. The chassis in the old reliable 55 has almost 10 years of racing under its belt with the same old mean green armature and dash magnets. Probably has at least 500 passes on it. Looks like it's time for some updates since the rules and new supplies have changed some. That's racing however. When I was racing full size running mid 4s in the 1/8th was near the top of the heap, now that's an also ran. Thanks again Adam for doing all the work it takes to run an event. If you have not done it, you have no idea. Good job.
