Sure is tougher now Jeff. We used to battle for top spot with .59-.60. Now I see all the PSO guys have stepped up their game, nice going and glad to see it. Good show guys. The chassis in the old reliable 55 has almost 10 years of racing under its belt with the same old mean green armature and dash magnets. Probably has at least 500 passes on it. Looks like it's time for some updates since the rules and new supplies have changed some. That's racing however. When I was racing full size running mid 4s in the 1/8th was near the top of the heap, now that's an also ran. Thanks again Adam for doing all the work it takes to run an event. If you have not done it, you have no idea. Good job.

Rules, the reason for all controversy here on Nitro. We need some rules but let's not get all bent out of shape with rules. This is supposed to be something we do for FUN.

I blew a few trannies in my day, but that is what I call destruction.

Thanks for the congrats. No doubt you need some racing luck to win any event. For some reason the non braided T jets were notorious for not moving at the starting line on my track. No matter how clean and flat the pickups were. Thanks again to the racemaster for a great show and the huge field of 37 cars who put on the show. Seeing how these cars stock hit about 4-7 MPH everyone had them flying. My cars were not consistent when testing. The white Camaro was actually the quicker and faster car here most of the time. No way to figure it. Thats why we race on the track and not on paper.

I agree with Jeff, the cars know when to turn it on. The red Camaro ran quicker at the race than it did here, while the white Camaro fell off by about .05. and 2 MPH. They are machines with a mind of their own.

Congratulations Pete, good guess. My stock Tyco's were all over the place from a low of .60 to a high of 1.2.

My T jets for this race were all over the place, running good one day and terrible the next??? I have had some 5.7 ohm T jets outrun many of my 5.7 AFX chassis. The slightly heavier running gear of the T jet is its only disadvantage. The dragsters however were pretty consistent!

I did the same test with different results. Don't know how old my sponge tires were, but the car was not consistent, so a guess is in order.
