Hey guys I know it's been awhile since I have given race resalts(Darn Job) but we held a rare Saturday afternoon race at Carl Schorle's PMS Drag O Way in St Louis. We had 16 racers(5 new guys) 2 cars each for a full 32 car field for bracket racing. A great crowd was on hand as well, seems like these guys are always there. And as always when a large crowd is here the two Weiner Dog Securty team Buster and the Herminator kept everyone in order.
Kdogs 51 Chevy Blown Hell (a very cool Gary Mead body) took Top Qualifyer with a .545 at 13.8v, but got knocked out in the later rounds with a mechinal issue, probably due to the 10' flight it took earilyer when the dog failed to slow down before the return lane.
The finals came down to two racers Rick Cantrell (a HOHRA track owner) and Mark Wulf an expreanced Drag Racer but a first timer to our club. Last semi race Marks Vett vs Ricks Nova.
Rick wins... only to face Mark once more running his Nova.
