where does one go to find a tree for the track???

Trackmate has the working ones for full track timing.
If you just looking for a plastic tree for decoration, the hot wheels or Johnny Lightning die cast funny cars come with one. I've seen them at the larger 1:1 car show vendor area's where they sell die cast cars.
