New Racer

Hey yall! New Racer here. Iam located in Southern Illinois. Roughly 50 miles East of St. Louis. Iam 18 years old and love Racing! Ive raced Go Karts to UMP Hornets to UMP Street Stocks. Then switched to Footbrake Drag Racing with my 86 Firebird, then to R/C Dirt Oval Racing, and now Slot Cars. But iam still gonna be Drag Racing my Firebird, and my dad is gonna take over the Street Stock this year. And i still plan on racing Slot Cars and some R/C Dirt Oval Racing. Mainly big races.

I currently race UTAC, MHRA and some 1/24 Slot Car Racing whenever i have the money to drive 2hrs. But i found about this site and fell in love! Iam a big fan of NHRA Super Stock and Comp racing. Ive actually teamed up with a local Super Comp racer on some races also! I just love attending Nationals and Big Money Bracket races. I dont know why, but i like Drag Racing more than Dirt Oval? Granted, Dirt Oval is a BLAST. There is just something that attracts me to Drag Racing.

Anyway, iam working on a AFX/Tomy DragStrip in my room. Its roughly 7ft long timed track. Iam talking to Daniel at Trackmate and iam gonna order the Budget H.O. Timing System either this weekend or next week. I plan to host races on Sundays for my friends and fellow racers. I also set up a 1/43 track besideds my H.O track cuz i do alot of 1/43 Proxy Races. Iam actually preparing cars for the Spring Nats coming up.

Anyway, just wanted to hello to everybody! Ive been reading all the threads and learning alot!
