Just a reminder. We will be breaking in MRT SlotCarsInc.com Drag Raceway www.mmvhoracer.com/ Tuesday night at 7pm. Doors open at 3pm. Everyone's invited! There will even be a few door prizes! Bring your tjets and inlines. We will be discussing rules and classes at this race. We've posted some rules from Psychoslots.com on www.mmvhoracer.com/ to help us get started. It's always good news when another drag strip opens! Its even more good news to our Western members, when a Southwestern State is it's home!
Welcome MRT Drag Strip, and best wishes on your inaugaral event!
Isn't Chandler near Phoenix?? We visited the FireBird Speedway last year at this time. for NHRA Nationals.......won't be able to make it this year, tho.

It's always good news when another drag strip opens! Its even more good news to our Western members, when a Southwestern State is it's home! Welcome MRT Drag Strip, and best wishes on your inaugaral event! Isn't Chandler near Phoenix?? We visited the FireBird Speedway last year at this time. for NHRA Nationals.......won't be able to make it this year, tho. Yes, it's just Southeast of Phoenix. No time to go either but I can hear them from my house! We have a few more strips going up in the Valley and I hear one along the River also! |

I talked with Mike a few years ago. He moved to Arizona and has returned to HO Road Racing. He was heavily involved with 1/24 Drag Racing for quite awhile. Slotcrazyaz, ask Mike about the time he melted the track with his Unlimited car in AZ. back in 89'. He had a fast/quick car for about a minute until it fried.   |

TRACK OPENS AT 1:30pm Racing starts at 3pm

I even raced with Mike back in late 80's or early 90's, some 1/24 drag racing when the winternats were held in Springfield Missouri. We would run two tracks and have 1100 or more entry's. Good to here he's still around.

We had a great afternoon and evening of Drag Racing at MRT SlotCarsInc.com Dragway Chandler AZ!
14 cars in all. We expect quite a few more the next time. This was a great format!
The Next race will be Friday, March 13th at 7:30 pm. I'm not sure what time the doors open but will post that shortly. Amazing how that Christmas Tree is the great equalizer!

We had some awesome drag racing Friday night at MRT Slotcarsinc.com Drag strip in Chandler Arizona. Our ProStock Inline winner ( Glenn) won by .001 seconds even though Mark, the runner up had a .002 faster reaction time! What a Fun race that was. 15 cars in all and very close action in all races. This program is rounding out very well! Our next race is Saturday March 28th. Doors open at 2 and racing starts at 4pm. For more information check out www.mmvhoracer.com/Everyone is Welcome!!
