This mounting technique is used for mounting bodies other than aurora, j/l, a/w, resin etc.... to a thunder jet chassis. This is how I do it. Please share your tips on how you mount. Buy yourself some styrene square stock or round stock from your local hobby dealer. Mine is 3/16" x 3/16" Cut your mount to size and do a dry fit under the body you'll be using to get the right ride heigth. After I'm happy with the way the body sits I drill one hole in each post using a 1/16" drill bit. After your holes are drilled. Screw the post to the chassis. Now place a dab of 24 hour JB weld to the top of each post. Set body on top and align body. Let JB weld dry for 24 hours. Remove body and add some more JB weld around the base.

I should get some of that stuff. I've been using the inside tubes from Bic Pens. They hold screws really well and also make nice axel holders. I superglue them in and then cover them with exposy to give them some extra strength. They work well, but that plastic stock looks like ti would be even better.
Nice tip!

They do make smaller tubing as well. This square stock is kind of bulky. I need to pick up some tubing also.
VJ, was it you that did a white lightning little red wagon? I know I've seen it somewhere and was thinking that you had put one on ebay before.
