Didn't know where to put this.......... started preping three bodies for casting (hot wheels). 64 Galaxie 500, 67 Chevelle SS, and a 68 Dart. Chopped 5 window 33 coupe in half to make 3 window........ little more sanding before casting. If you got a 32 coupe from , Doug's race. They fit on a Mega g like they were made for it. Plenty of room in front with the 1.7 chassis for different engine pipe configurations.

You got it , Tom ! When I finish 3 window & mold , I'll cast some coupe bodies. Have ideas for a few of them. Each time I've done one , I get ideas for another. Started drilling holes in motor for wiring , plumbing & pulleys. Found Hot Wheels with the spoked front wheels finally (Crager backs). Looks good without the motor, should be sharp, Mega G chassis. ...... Peter

One of the threads near where I found this is titled something like- Custom 64 Galaxie....... same car , poured first part of mold 1/2 hr ago. Gonna mold 3 window 33 first then cast some bodies. Like the 3 window better than 5 !

Wow.....I guess it's time for me to go back thru the forum threads again. Started looking for that thread and found a bunch of GOOD stuff that I haven't seen before! Sill haven't found the Galaxy one yet . What do you like about the resin you are using versus what Hairy Canary uses? Didn't you also use some black stuff too?

Short time before the chaos starts again.........
Poured second part of mold for Galaxie and first part of 33..... finished up sanding on roof of coupe last night. No more angle in roof...... could not see it only feel running finger over joint. May be fine lines from sanding. But nothing that won't disappear with light coat of primer. Been paying more attention to condition of bodies to be cast. Chips & missing gloss coat were resulting in some ugly bodies. Used old die cast for first castings. Not a good idea without a lot of prepping.

You just can't have too many cool resin bodies around. RESIN ROCKS !!!

Galaxie bodies have come out of the mold in workable state (not to bad). Need to pour molds for Chevelle & Dart (hopefully today).
3 window 33 did not mold well , probably have to remold outside half. First time trying extra strength Alumilite for outside. Their Quickset has a thinner consistency. Flows and picks up details better.
A number of people have asked about availability of bodies. If they would be for sale. I've thought about it , but am not comfortable with the idea. However , trading was sugested. This I would do (getting time for parts order). Pressed for time right now , will get back later and post list of bodies that I have molds for. If intrested in any send PM...... will get back to those that have already. .............. Peter
