Chaosboy,, your bodies are posted for probably a NOS aurora tjet.. slip one in and see how it lines up.. the wheelbase might be off on those bodies.. The chassis you show using is an AW or JL chassis the wheel base is different than a NOS tjet. since they are not actually slot car body.. Are they plastic or Metal.. ?? Metal is fine for cruising.. but not so much for drag racing they are way to heavy.. Might see if someone here would cast em for you in a resin.. The chassis missing a gear, Is an AFX chassis that uses a small hole idler gear , that is what is missing.. The chassis missing the pickup shoe , spring and guide pin.. contact any of the shops in our links at the bottom of the home page and they can hook you up with replacement parts... Hope this helps Chris

The bodies are all plastic ( fairly heavy duty mind you ) So they may not be made professionally? The quarter flash and bad news cars are made by kdog ( if I'm not mistaken! ) So as far as the parts for the others I'll just send the same pics along with my request! thank-you Chris and Jody!

Those bodies look like Tjets. They look like they were resin casts made by alfaslots on ebay. He might have changed his name to giperjet. That's how he does his posts. I have a few of them. A bronco and I ford van. He will have 30 differant bodies up at times.
except for the Willys and Angela maybe. Not sure who made them

The black Willy's I did, but I don't remember the purple Austin. I have done some in the past so who knows. If that Austin was cast from the Hot Wheels body it won't fit a T Jet standard chassis without some messing with the wheel Wells. They do fit the slimline better, but those aren't that fast. If you want the Willy's repaired, and send it to me I'll do it for the cost of parts plus postage. I'll pm you. The other cars are slosh cast using a 1 piece mold they tend to be thick. Don't the wheels line up with the wheel wells, or is the screw post the issue?

The first chassis shown....... (PLAYING MANTIS 2002) is a Johnny Lightning Car.
The second chassis, missing a pick up and guide pin is an Aurora Thunderjet.
The last Chassis is an Aurora, either AFX or Magna- traction.
The missing part is called the IDLER gear.

HI. I'd like to thank all of you for helping me find the right chassis for my " lost bodies " lol! It turned out to be a T-Jet chassis made by AW. They pretty much " fit like a glove "! Now I just need some big boots for the back, some skinnies for the front and some hot rims all around and its street rod city!!

There is a guy on ebay that sells the Pinto, Maverick & Gremlin. The posts have to be glued in they are not cast into the body. Don't remember his user id.
