Hello. As I hope to get our new family room done soon and set up my 1/4 miler, I would like to know what chassis are good to start out with for drag racing. Second, how do you modify them for racing. Say like If I started out with a super G. I am so out of the loop here and need to learn these things. I have a s'cool bus coming in. I have already learned that the super G blows away the AW chassis! But what Would I be best off using for something like that for speed? I would asume to start by removing the magnets? What other hop up tricks are there. Again, what is your suggestion for the perfect beginner drag chassis out of the box? Thanks. Jody

Welcome aboard smartresins. Go to the home pages first heading "General", then click on "Getting Staged". It's the third one down. The questions you raise and many more are at those topics. We race a lot of Super G's at my track but we've lowered the voltage a lot so we can see them and it takes away the "best reaction time wins" syndrome. At the same time our current mail a way race is for the much slower, but much loved t-jets that have been around since the sixties. Don't stop asking questions though.

we have been "T -Jet centric" for some time now. More articles etc will be appearing for the inlines as well as time allows.
The MM/PS is a good mild hop up to start with.
