The Ohio Mafia strikes again.
Richard B's second car (Cuda) is ready. #57?
69tang's car (Challenger) is coming also. #58? Yeah, I know, 69tang running a Challenger? Let's just say he got a good deal on it.
Derwood16's son fordman is going against the grain. He's the only Ohio guy not sending a Mopar. He decided to help out team Blue Oval.

Hey Guys we have had a last minute issue crop up. The entry fee as posted is $ 7.00 and an additional 1.00 for car number two. This is to give a break to the second car, and to encourage more entries as well. If you guy bundle six owners together, yes, we realize a very small overage because postage doesn't keep multiplying when they are boxed together. ( ;D Ah, you guys are on to us, we were padding our retirement with this scheme and you sneaky/clever guys busted us quickly! ;D)
Kidding aside, here's the straight deal:
NTRA operates at a loss every race. This is a reality, and hopefully some day it will break even or maybe at least close. At $7.00 plus $ 1.00, no one is realizing a profit or even close. We need to hold the fee at 7.00 plus 1.00 regardless of how many entries are in the same box. We think its fair, its reasonable, its definitely still non-profit and even in tough times the extra 6 bucks won't break anyone. This fee stands even if you bundle ten different guys cars together. $7.00 or the first car, 1 buck for car number two. When you consider the cost per hour of entertainment in this hobby its an enormous bargain! ;D On the lighter side, we appreciate and applaud the typical Hot Rodders approach to making the rules work the best way you can!! We would be disappointed at any less effort! ;D.
We Hope this doesn' t create any hardship, angst, dismay, weeping, cursing, gnashing of teeth, remorse, or second thoughts.
See you at the tree, boys!

I knew there was something I was forgetting... The Vette will not be making it to the Race... Seems I got OBE and forgot to mail it, though it sits in it's package on the counter of my shop ready to go... I will try to do a OvernightExpress but I suspect it being after 9am here, they will not honor Sat am delivery... That being said, I have learned a SPECTACULAR amount of information about Tjet building since that vette was built and have built some screamers with 16ohm arms.... actualy the fastest I have built was tuned with a 17.2 ohm arm... It pulls 8.35 seconds on my 68foot of track... for reference the SuperG+ box stockers get about 6secs per lap... In any case, I will be better prepared for the next race so until then, consider my Vette "trailer'd" for the race. Perhaps, I can enter a Datsun in the next one... Dan Shipsgunner
