Scale Auto Modeling now have these Alpha Numeric decals that are perfect for adding class designated lettering, #'s, your name or maybe your company's name on your car. The ones I've used are the HO scale, perfect for windows. They do have bigger sizes and they are also offered in Italic. Take a look in their ebay store for other sizes.
