I am getting ready to put up my new Slot Cars Inc dragstrip and was wondering what is a good height to have it off the floor? I am planning on mounting it to the wall. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

Hey Tom my slot car inc track is 32 inches off the floor and seems to be fine for everbody that has raced on it.

This is a great question and there is more to it than might be obvious. It is a topic of much interest and debate in the Model Railroad community and it might shed a bit of light here.
Simply put, As the the "layout" ( dragstrip in this case) nears eye level the overall realism is enhanced.....Eye level is normal viewing for most objects. However, the best PANORAMIC view is afforded at lower elevations..............A person viewing an event will often climb to the highest point for an overall view. Depending on your construction method, height can be adjusted if you grow disatisfied after building and using it.
