Iam new to this bodywork stuff on these H.O. Cars, so i have some questions:
-Whats the best way to mount a Pro Stock Hood Scope? What do you use, and how do you get it to look as one with the hood?
-How do you mount Lexan Windows? I have some resin bodys that came with Lexan Windows. But dont know how to mount em?
Thanks Blake

Testors makes a glue for windows... also you can use elmers to mount the lexan.. both are time consuming... I have used super glue.. sparingly,, and if you blow on it the fumes that haze the lexan usually go away... if you still manage to haze the window.. give it a coat of clear coat or future floor wax ... my two cents.... I use DEVCON PLASTIC WELD to mount hood scoop's and wing's. It's two part's and it work's well as a filler. Ace hardware has it. You got to work fast because it doesn't take long to cure.

Has anybody used Super Duty Epoxy, or Super Glue to mount the hoodscoops? I think it would work, youll just have to fill in the gaps with bondo.
Sam (the paint master) any tips/insite from you?

I have used super glue... works fine... except for the gaps... SOOOOOOO..... I use squadron putty thinned with liquid testors glue.. mix it together.. put it near/on the gap,, smooth it with a q tip or my finger,, if I can get in there... works well. and is sandable ... you have to work fast or you wind up with fuzz from the q tip.. Blake, I've been using JB Weld for mounting my hood scoops. Our track has a rather short shut down area that requires the use of a towel to help slow down the cars at the very end. I've seen and have had hood scoops come off in the past from only using Super Glue. If our track had a shut down area long enough to where we didn't need the use of a towel then SG would be fine to use. I haven't had any scoops come off when I use JB Weld. I also like to add a little extra JB Weld so that it squishes out the bottom when I mount the scoop, this will act as filler also. I wipe off the excess. Let it set up and sand the area of the gap with 400 grit if needed once it has dried. Here is how I mount Lexan windows www.psychoslots.com/index.cgi?board=bc&action=display&thread=937
