What is the lane spacing on lifelike track?Is it the widest lane spacing of all production plastic track?I know tyco track is 1/8 inch wider than tomy afx track. thanks

Not sure Dana. That is a good question for guys building a Drag Strip out of 15" sections. If you had enough sections you could double them up like a four lane track and fill in the two closest lanes. Just a thought.

Thanks for that idea.I have enough track to double up I bought some bondo this afternoon and I'm getting ready to go to work on filling the inner lanes and sand them smooth and then paint.Thanks for the help.

If you haven't slapped on the Bond yet... I have a portable track that I bought and the guy who made it used doubled up plastic track also. However he put a 1/4" x 1" rectangular trim board between the two plastic tracks to space them further apart. Then he has it where the two outer lanes can be used as return roads. It's 28' long so all it takes is a guy sitting at the top end to turn the cars around on the outside lanes and the driver can drive his car back. Lousy weight loss program though.

I ended up not doing the bondo too much work.I doubled the 15" straights all the way and put down yellow penstriping down the middle and it looks good I'll post some pictures when it's done.Does anyone have a drag timing system they want to sell?That's all I lack now other than doing the scenery .Thanks again guys
