Any new events in the works? What are the general guidelines? The host the only one that runs the cars?

I'll let the NTRA officials or Sam answer this completely, but the host tracks own local drivers are the ones that actually race the cars. As I said, they can tell you if there actually is any kind of 'formula' they use on whose car to drive, but I'm pretty sure they alternate cars/ drivers in as many rounds as possible to ensure that everyone entered has exactly the same chance as the next entrant. Keep watching for upcoming events. There is the "Monster Bash" coming up in a few weeks, and after that who knows. I do know there are events planned already for 2010, and some just 'pop up'. In either case, there is always ample time allowed to get a car/ cars ready. And there is always a Test and Tune session about a month or so before the race, so racers can get their car 'dialed in' for the race (at least there has always been a T & T so far anyway ) As I said, hopefully one of the NTRA guys, or Sam, will chime in with more detail. ;D Ron (Bondo) Lonestar Racing and Resins

We alternate drivers during a Proxy event. The two guys or gals who have been cutting the best R/T's are the ones that run in the finals. Drivers are used to simulate real racing. We could just run one driver and use one controller with jumper wires to the other lane that will run both cars for similar R/T's but to me that racing would be rather boring after qualifying because the car with the low E/T car will always win unless it has some wheel hop or a mechanical.
Finishing touches are being made for a 2010 schedule. A complete schedule with classes ran at each event will be posted soon. Some really cool stuff in store for next year. Four events on four different tracks with two of those tracks being new to NTRA Proxy racing. Tracks are located in Colorado, Missouri, Florida and California. Full track specs will also be available when the 2010 schedule comes out. We will also be keeping track of points next season. Should be a great time.
