Hello all, Just wanted to post some pics of my latest finished projects. First up is a new Doorslammer, the body has seen more redo's then my Gulf game. For those that might remember, this car started out as the 4 gear Graffiti Cuda. It was changed and raced in the Winter NAtionals as "THE HOOSIER CUDA". Now, we have the more improved and faster "SMOKiN CUDA".  Next is one of my favorite DASH bodies, a 55 " PRO STOCK on a Ulra-g with Mean Green. TO bad there is currently no class that this configuration meets. MAybe next season, we can have more Souped up Thunder Jet classes and NOT AS MANY FOUR GEAR CLASSES! The CAps were intentional  And Finally, Papa's Pride and Joy. This is by far the fastest car that I have ever run, hands down. "PINK HENRY".   Thank You for Watching. KABOOM. RAce On! |

Don't see why it cannot run in this year's NTRA Final as a Gasser. Unless you have poly-mags, in which case you can swap for some ceramics to make Gasser Class legal. Looks like a slight tilt in front wheel, do you have independent axles in front? Doesn't matter, still Gasser Class legal. Just curious. |

 Yes, but the GAsser class requires Hood Scoop ,blower etc, wheeley bars and chute. I was thinking maybe next year a SUPER STOCK CLASS (no 4 gear) with JL, AW, Ultra=g etc. Any armature 5 ohm and gears and tires, NO SHUNTS OR BRAIDS THOUGH. What is drag racing without SUPER STOCK? Or maybe next year remake the N/FC class away from 4 gear. Keep M/FC as a 4 gear. Just trying to open things up. Keith

Hey Keith,
Any extra rubber bands from the sling shot ? Could just put one around the car to hold scoop on........lol. I use stuff called "Household Goop" to hold things that are going to, or might be removed later. Holds good and can be removed. Might help you out.
I too would like to see another 5ohm class for t-jet types, one with poly mags! Think they got kinda overlooked with all the new 4g classes. Was a Pro Mod class (not sure if it still exsists), 3 something ohms w/poly mags. Maybe something between that and gasser could work. Like a 5ohm w/polys. We do have a Super stock (race cancelled), stock copper clad w/tires wheels. The N/PS, Rat, and Gasser use any chassis. Gasser is the only 5ohm. Think trying to fit another class in between these could be hard. Perhaps changes could be made to exsisting classes, make rats 5ohms (wide open body style) and gassers poly. Seems doing this would keep things simple for all and cover all the bases, another 5ohm and a poly class. Unless another class was just added using 5ohm'ers and poly. Again covering both, maybe a Pro Stock ?

Nice ! Think the only way your going to find gas for under 3.- is if you find someone selling gas on the side of the road from a hijacked truck.
