Thunderwreck wins with .6398 @ 24.61 mph to Bondoman's losing .7621 @ 20.98 MPH. Good catch Ron, Yeah that was a typo. My fault. I gave Kim the #'s It's corrected now.

Added some videos to the Rat Rod A class throughout this thread. Will get more photos up this week. Lighting is bad. We will try and get better lighting for the next race.

I know the with the cuts in MOPAR racing funds from the corporate level is causing racers to use other means to help there budget, but a guy in a goalie mask and PSYCHO on his forehead,WILL NOT SELL THE SAUCE,at least to most people. I'm sure the OHIO MAFIA has techniques which will help persuade some customers in the middle of the country.

More Videos added. I think I like the shots from the starting line better like I did for the Test & Tune sessions. At least then you could see the action a little better. The cars are just too small and too fast to make them out where I was standing. Having the big heat lamps over our sensors are not good for shooting footage either. Maybe better lighting would help. I'll have to play around with different positions/lighting etc.... before the next event. Will have more videos up later this week with the grudge matches and the results of those races.

Does the video show any common reason for the number of deslots or roll overs? I wouldn't think the length of wheelie bars is as critical as out of round rim/tires,my suspicion is since my front tires touch ,they might have moved over to bind on the pickups and flipped the car. or not enough guide depth or to much and hitting a track irregularity in the slot. any other ideals ?

I feel that the biggest problem with the deslots come from not enough downforce on a car. IMO Some guys are running the ragged edge to where if it goes down the track it's going to be a good pass but if there is a little tire spin or hop on a run then it is going to upset the car and come out. Is is a bad thing? I don't think so, Drag Racers are always trying to push the bar a little higher in heads up racing, that's what makes this a great Hobby. Wheelie bars were another big problem here and if I remember correctly there were problems at Kdogs Gasser race as well. Going to a shorter spec wheelie bar didn't work out so well. Because of all the deslots recently the NTRA has lifted the short wheelie bar rule and now is allowing a maximum of 2" on the bar length. Another thing about wheelie bars. Two beads (wheels) are a must for them. Having one bead in the center of the wheelie bar that rides on the slot when it launches fights too much with what the guide pin is trying to do up front. Braided pick up shoes, braids should be as flexible as possible. Too much solder will not let the shoe sit flat. Too much solder or a stiff braid on one side can upset a car. These are just my thoughts and opinions on why the deslots were occurring.
