Painting

I am really hoping for and looking forward to information on this thread that might help me learn to paint cars. I have run across some good general tutorials from time to time on the web, but I will be interested to see what happens here. In addition to showing completed cars, it would be interesting to me to include information on the techniques and materials used to create the specific car shown - maybe even a series of pictures showing the stages leading up to the completed car.
