The fastest isnt as easy to answer as you might guess. Its kind like real racing....................'speed equals money...............how fast do you want to spend it??"
We race a lot of T jets because they have traditional bodies in many cases, are easy to work on and hop up parts are plentiful.
The Mountain Motor Pro Stocks (inline type chassis) we race are are pretty inexpensive as well, and have some hop up parts used.
Generally speaking, the inline type cars are faster out of the box. These cars start inexpensiviely............but 'purpose built' semi- custom inlines run into the hundreds for you extreme speed freaks.
As mentioned, there is a ton of info here, and it takes more than a day or two to absorb and make sense of it. Feel free with any questions, as we have all experineced a learning curve since we have met here. Even the old timers have learned. This is truly a group who enjoys having more members and fellow enthusiasts to the degree that they are happy to help and share 'speed secrets.'

Welcome Mac! You will find that the modern inline cars like the Super G Plus cars perform well right out of the box. If you like to tinker and and tune them up to go faster then you will also find that hop up parts for these cars are readily available. You can find 55 Chevy bodies for these chassis at Jag Hobbies www.jaghobbies.com/ho_slot_cars/dash_cart_afx.htmLucky Bob's sells Super G-Plus chassis and hop up parts. For some reason the link to his site is taking me to cars.com They only way to get to his site is to do a search for Lucky Bob's and access it from there.
