I'm lowering a car and thought id post some pics for anyone who ain't done this and would like to know how' probably loads of ways, this is how i do my cars... first up i completely remove the tabs inside the body making sure i have a nice flat surface... then i test fit the chassis again, making sure the wheels dint rub the arches' i remove some plastic from inside the wheel arches just to be on the safe side, and take a good look around the car as it sits on the chassis for a general idea of the stance. then as in pic' above, i cut two square pieces of plastic (plastruct etc) of equal size making sure the are big enough to cover the tabs on the chassis, i draw a line roughly in the middle' this serves as a guide as i drill a series of small holes and connect them up with a blade, then clean up the slot with a file... i then test fit them on the chassis tabs like so... Bingo' now i place the chassis back in to the body, again make sure every thing squares up... perfect fit, remove chassis again and carefully place some glue on the outside of the chassis tabs' i use slow setting glue so i have time to position the chassis as i want it... excellent, I'm happy! now after the glue has set i remove the chassis and hopefully the tabs are still in place, i add some more glue round the tabs on the body for some reinforcement! How low can you go... i should have taken a before and after pic so you can see the difference! Hope this helps

nice one hb, that looks really mean one trick I sometimes use is to place a layer or two of tape over both front and rear wheels, then sit the body down so it lightly rests on the tape. Usually comes out nice n even, just gotta make sure there's enough clearance around the wheels and bottom of the body..
