Great job Florida gang! I just walked in about 15 minutes ago and was able to catch the "A" Finals. I'll have to look around the forum a little. I heard my car went up in smoke from some sort of fire show. Anybody know anything about it? gave us a new acronym for Ford.. Fried On Race Day.. ..

That was a tough 16 car field in the "A" class. Lots of close cars. Good racing with you all!

Congratulations Rick. You really stepped it up from your TnT times. I really like the all Mopar final round. That's just like the old days. Don't worry, I called OFF the "hit".
Congratulations to Chima and Ruthie Dianne on your best appearing cars
Thanks to Allstarhr and everyone involved in pulling this thing off. I had a lot of fun getting ready for it and following it online. Thanks to the race sponsors, without your support it wouldn't be the same.

Thanks again to Quick Richard (he's the Treemaster as Rapid Rick Voeglin took the "Rapid" away from him.), Demon, Karen and Swamper for helping get this in the books.
A couple of finishing notes. We used three drivers for the races. Richard, Demon and me. We rotated were we each effectively had the same number of races and tried to not drive the same car twice (we had to in finals). We kept a record of reaction time only wins between us. If one red-lighted and the other didn't, the green lite driver got the point. If both drivers red-lighted the guy with the smallest red-light got the point. (It did happen once and I was typing at the time. GRIN!) However, when the racing was done and we totaled up the points, it was Treemaster Richard with 15 points while Demon and I had 13 points each. That's close driving! Richard has a new car! As will all three class winners and runner up's. The winner's will also get a brand new 440x2 chassis to ... ah clean the rust off their track with. Everybody that entered will get a little something to smooth the hurt... it's not much, but you'll see.

Sam, it was way too late for the blue oval bowl for that toasty car. Ford burn more that oil I see!
