09/23/2010 Clean looking Gassers on Rick's way cool Lions Drag Strip. From Rick: The Gassers were next. Eddiebee's pair of supercharged Chevys gave the fans a thrill when the Corvette lost a front wheel at the top end. Fortunately Eddie kept it off the guardrail and the crew made repairs. The Stingray put down a best of 1.350/8.88 mph. Unfortunately the '57 was having engine problems, and was slowing down with every run. After a best of 1.475/7.32 mph, the crew decided to park it before they left motor bits on the track. Join in on the fun of NTRA Proxy Drag Racing. It's not too late to get signed up for the final race of the year!! Sign up here: psychoslots.com/index.cgi?board=ntra&action=display&thread=1974&page=1

Magnificent, Sam! Auto World really missed the boat by not hiring you to model their Pro Stocks. Great, great job! Rick V. 10/08/2010 SKR Cobalt finished to replicate Dave Connolly's P/S.

Thanks guys! I heard that this background picture gave Dave Connolly the inspiration today to get his first NHRA come back victory. Pretty cool. ;D
Fall is here which means racing season is upon us. I hope to see some pictures of any new builds that you guys are working on. If you are not sure how to post pictures.... Send them to me direct at skrcustoms@msn.com and I'll be happy to post them for you.

ha! He's been back for 2 or 3 races and has had 2 sponsor changes. That would be a lot of work keeping up with the changes. I don't even think a shop with a full staff like yours would even like that... unless you pay them OT for the late nights and weekends Although, I do like the way his black car looks. The Makita tools livery would be a cool one to do.
