02/12/11 Kdogs build. This is a car he did that will be given away at the Rocky Mountain Nationals Proxy event coming up next month. Everybody who enters will have a fair shot at this car. Every car that shows up will get a ticket #. During the event, I'll draw one ticket out of a box and if the ticket is yours.... then you get this beauty for free. Thanks Kdog! 03/06/2011 Some of the cars for next weekends race are starting to pull into town. We were out earlier cruising around town and heard this one terrorizing everyone at the Holiday Inn. Turns out Bondoman and crew were tuning this bad boy to the altitude in the back lot. That didn't last long. He was asked to leave asap. Bondoman's Cuda Door Slammer. Very nice Ron!

Thanks guys. Johnny, those are indeed from Tony over in the U.K. I painted them silver, as they came in 'raw' brass. Larry, the decals were actually printed by me on my computer. I went online and got the 'artwork' for this years new car (not Brogdon's, this year "The Pistonator" has a different driver, can't remember his name), I saved the image in my puter, then just downsized it in my graphics program ("The GIMP", it's a free program, can be downloaded online) until I got the size I needed, then just printed on white decal paper. The left side of the car was a TON of work, as I had to 'reverse' the image, then print xtras of the right side lettering, then cut out the reversed lettering, and insert the correct lettering. Of course, I had to clearcoat over the decals since I only have an inkjet printer. Plus the fact that I had to cut EVERYTHING as close as I could get it to the lettering and artwork. And of course, I wasted some of the decal paper with all the cutting I had to do. But, it was all worth it, dontcha think? ;D
