Good job as usall John, I think the modifycations you mention would make for an exciting class.
I also like keeping to the smaller size wheels, there is no shortage of orignal wheels, I will mention while I love the look of MEV's wheels I personally have had issues in the past gitting a whole set that was true enough to race.
I also like the idea of sticking with the smaller scale bodies there are more than enough to make for an intresting field of cars.

I like where you have gone with the rules for the stock class but I think that no ballast should be allowed. I mean other than a tire change this is my S/S car.

The body rules are still being weighed. I'll put up a list of pre accepted bodies ASAP so you guys can see the choices that would be open. Using these 'older' body types make this a true legacy class of racer.
On ballast: Sometimes you get front end 'hop.' (mini wheelies). Ballast fights this and also generally leads to more consistent performance by way of positive track contact.
