Greetings to all! I stumbled across this site while browsing. Although I consider myself an HO road racer, HO drag racing was my intro to slot cars. I had a real cool middle school instructor that would let us bring our track & cars to run in his classroom after school. Great times! Now, I think I'd like to build one of those MM/PS cars, BUT, my modeling skills are sub-par at best! I would like to purchase from those that are designing bodies for this class. I can envision a '55 Chevy that is slammed to the ground! *drooling* Any leads to the builders is greatly appreciated! Thanks, B.

Welcome to Psycho Slots Biotech! I found a few pictures here that you might enjoy. The first one is a 55 Chevy done by Hilltop These cars here were done by Roark69Camaro Here is a little bit about that chassis. A MM/PS chassis (IMO) is a quick, consistent, fairly cheap and all around great chassis to build. The MM/PS Mountain Motor Pro Stock build up chassis in tech tips is a class we started here in Colorado. It's a class we run which allows 1980 and newer body styles. Some examples of MM/PS cars can be found in this thread along with Nostalgia Pro Stock cars that utilize Tjet chassis: www.psychoslots.com/index.cgi?board=pc&action=display&thread=756It's a fun heads up class where the cars run very close in E/T's. Like I said it's a great chassis no matter what you put on it. We hope you enjoy the site and please feel free to ask questions. Sam

Oh well, I tried contacting the parties mentioned. I guess I'll have to learn the modeling on my own...

Welcome aboard biotechman. Just a quick reminder for you. If you look at the MM/PS rules , the bodies are 1980 and newer. Even though the '55s make great looking drag cars , those bodies would probably be better in the Gasser class. Good luck and hope you have fun , I do.

Thanks for the welcome Sam! I'll pm you. B. Hi Bio, I haven't recieved any messages. I'd give Roark some time. He hasn't been on here much lately. If you are interested in doing your own then I'd be happy to give you some tips in slamming a 55. Let me know. Sam

Thanks everyone. I'll be patient! Meanwhile, I'll build my car. As for the '55, that's just a personal favorite. For the MM/PS class, I would like to run one of the new Charger R/T bodies. I don't know of anyone that makes these?? I have seen a couple 1:1 cars in my area that have been dropped a couple inches.............TOTALLY makes em look bada$$!!!
