I'm all about slot cars. Have the new NASCAR COT back to the old Aurora cars. I would like to know if I can get a Pro Stock car of the Mountain View Dodge Avenger? Can you get bodies and decals of these cars? Need the chassis for it also. Any help will be appreciated. Joe

Hi Joe, Welcome to this site. I'm not aware of a Pro Stock Avenger body out yet. I'll be attempting to make one in about a month and will let you know when it is done. The decals will need to be made. Contact Ron at rasteege@yahoo.com. He might be able to help you out on the decals.

Joe, you looking for something like this? This is basically how mine is going to look. When I do the master, it will look a liitle more sharp.

Sam, let me know when you have the Avenger body ready for sale. I would like to get one. Also the Mountain View decals look sweeet. What about the decal for the headlights and the Dodge grill. Also how do I get a chassis for the body with the large tires. So many questions!! Thanks, Joe

Proper Body fitMaking the body fit better requires that you make a few modifications to the wheels and traction magnets. By shaving the nipple flange from the rear of the wheel and by sanding the side of the rear traction magnet so that it sits flush with the chassis will get your rear tires closer to the chassis which allows the body to sit right and gives a more realistic 1/1 stance. Use a file or sand paper to shave the flange down. The wheel on the right is what the final result should look like. Using a straight file sand on the magnet to square it up with the outside edge of the chassis. Top magnet has been sanded. Bottom shows how it comes stock. Thanks for all of the info. There are still more questions that I have to ask. One is the purple on the car. Is it a standard color that can be bought at Wally World or one that will be mixed at the paint store. I hope you can buy it at the local hobby store. Thanks, Joe

I did get a pretty good start on one when I was offline. I only had a few pictures to use as a reference when I did the body contouring of it. I think it looks pretty good and will make some revisions to the next mold as I see fit. Looks like I will need to flatten the roof out a bit on the next master.
