The body started life as a PT Cruser key chain I got for a buck. The rear of the car is actually the hood grafted on, talk about kit bashing ! It has won best of show many times.

Thought I recognized your work. I was the visitor from Orlando at Carl's house last year for the 1492 Nationals. Didn't I pick one of your other cars as Best Appearing? Or do all the guys in St.L. know how to chop and build neat front ends?

I knew it had to be you. Good to see you on the forum. I got an email from Carl last week. If I can get an invite, I'll change my flight reservations so I can attend Tim Ranch's 1492 Nationals Oct 8th. I was flying into St. Louis on the 10th anyway. I could come in early, make the race and pester my brother in Belleville on Tuesday, then meet my wife's flight on Wednesday. Think I would be welcomed back? Does Tim drink wine? I find lubricating the host helps, just not if they are non-drinkers.

Of corse you are welcome, If you have never seen Tims Dragstrip it is very cool, well detailed with an intresting theme, you just have to see it to believe it. Anyway I live in Belleville as well, if I can help out like a lift to and from the race let me know. That goes for anyone who will be visiting the St Louis area we race every Monday night, I'll try to get a schedule posted. All T Jet we keep the rules simple so anyone can walk in and race. Kevin
