Did the cars get sent back after the test and tune? I was hoping to do some tweaking before the race. Thanks and sorry to bother you if they have already been sent.

Yes, they were mailed back. I was slow getting it done. It shouldn't hurt you as I need to announce a couple days delay in the finals. My brother has died and it now looks like I won't be back from St. Louis until Friday the 14th. I believe we can run the race on Monday night the 17th so that will add a few extra days to get the cars to us.

I thought the race is on May 23rd. Are you saying that it is going to be before that?

Woops! It is the 23rd and I don't think there will be any problems holding the race then unless 'the crew" has one I don't know about.
Depending on what happens while I'm there, I will try to give you a call kdog. We are bringing my 90 year old mother up for her son's funeral. Nobody should have to go through that at 90. She's sharp as a tack but only gets around with a power chair or a walker so it will be a challenge for her and all of us.

That's ok Phil, I'm sure your mind is on other things, and rightly so. I'm sorry to hear about your loss. Take care of your family. These little toy cars aren't that important.

I read on DragRacingOnline that you and Jody took turns as promoters at St. Louis International Raceway back in the day. What tales you could tell! Treasure the good times you had with him.
