Sam, do you cut the nipples of the front wheels like you did the rear wheels?

I forgot to mention anything about that. Yeah we do so the wheels sit under the body. Thanks for bringing this up.

I spent a few hours working on my car today, chassis is all done besides the rear axle/gear and tires. I'm going to try and mount the body with the stock tires. I'm excited to see what it will run.

hello
Maybe someone can clear this up for me about the MM/PS rules. Earlier post says the BSRT#140 arm is legal but the Lucky bob site says it's a $18.00 arm. If someone could clear this up for me I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks Wood

wood,
Looks like Lucky Bob's has made some item labeling changes. If you look at the item just above BSRT140, you will see BSRT936. In the BSRT936 description it states 'WAS THE BSRT 140 ARM'. I believe that now BSRT936 is the legal part for the upcoming race in January.

Absolutely correct Ninjatek. He changed the part # recently.
as listed on Lucky Bob's now: BSRT936 G+, G3 & G3R HIGH POWER RED WIRE ARMATURE STOCK APROX. 3.1 TO 3.4 OHMS
WAS THE BSRT 140 ARM

If there is an arm that is readily available sells for $12 and has been balanced, is that legal for this?

Yeah or you could balance it yourself. As long as it's available to anybody and it ohm's out at 2.6 or higher then it's legal. Wizzard sells a Balanced Armature but it doesn't work in the Gplus cars unless you have one of the Micro Speedworks T+ Bulkhead for the G3's that Lucky Bob's sells. The MS T Bulkhead uses Tyco style brushes. That Armature will not work with the stock endbell. It'll burn your armature up. It has something to do with the timing of the endbell/ armature? Don't believe me? Give it a try Without much testing we've seen a Gplus with the mentioned bulkhead run a .39 I'm sure the car will go a little quicker with the right amount of brush spring tension on it and or playing with the set up a little. That Wizzard Armature does work in Wizzard chassis and Tyco cars without modifications. We've had mixed results with those Armatures in Tyco cars vs. Gplus with the BSRT Armatures. So far the guys have been favoring the Gplus set ups. Nobody here has tried building up a Wizzard (Patriot/Storm) car yet. Maybe somebody will in the future.
