Iam wondering what tips/tricks are out there to build a very consistant Bracket T-Jet? I plan on using either a stock balanced arm or a Mean Green. What tires do you guys recomend? Iam not looking for a speed demon. Just a car that can run its dial every round.
Thanks Blake

I noticed your question and think it's a great question. There are many others here more expert than me, my answer is based on instinct, not necessarily tested knowledge.
One thing that does strike me ........whatever goes into a good racer applies pretty much to a good bracket car. If a car is well balanced,. everything round and square as needed (if you get what i mean) it will go a long way to consistent running. This next is a guess, but I am thinking a car WITHOUT braid pickups might be a good choice as adjustment of braids can be fussier than regular shoes from run to run. Tires bonded to wheels are a must, as slippage isnt likely to be consistent. Notched Brushes (if it's a T JET type) not only seem to make more power but should help with consistency as well. If not notched brushes have a tendency to spin within the their housing. Good traction and good wheelie bars are a must I would think...as burning rubber isnt likely to be a consistent factor from run to run, nor is the bouncing, on again off again power to the pickups you get from mini wheelies.
Anyone else have ideas to offer??

Rapid Richard, you willing to give any secrets away? You've kicked our butts long enough! How do you make it go 6.60, 6.62, 6.61, 6.60 month after month? Beware his Mopar from afar!
