The cars have started to arrive. I got a box yesterday from sjracer. I'll post again as more cars arrive.

If anybody's cars are a "little" late I'll still run them for you. I want everybody that wants some time runs to get some.
BTW, I was working on my 4-gear tonight and made the quickest pass for a NF/C here. It ran a 1.179. That was with an aurora 4-gear and the Dodge body that Sam made for me.

My cars won't make it to the T&T. I just got some silicone tires and they don't fit the wheels. I need to sand off the inside lip edge of the wheels to make them flat across the entire width of the wheels. I'll just run them on my batterypack and see what they sound like. They will be there for the race. Good luck everyone.

Three more boxes.  Today I got cars from Rick V., Ninjatek and Jon Soffa. My only problem is that I don't know who Jon Soffa is. I didn't find a Psycho Slots user name in the box. Can someone help me out? |

Looks like more Grand Am Funny Cars than ever ran down a drag strip! I guess we all spent our time working on chassis and then grabbed the first available ready-to-run body for the test 'n' tune <g>. I promise to have my N/FC resin bodies ready for the race . . . unless I have to work on the chassis!

I have noticed that a couple of the cars that have their rear tires tucked up under the body might have a problem. The tires are in so far that they are actually sitting on the rails.

Hmm..are mine too far in? I thought I checked that..but maybe I missed it. Shave the insides of the tires some? I can't add plastic to the wheels, lol, and I don't have other wheels either, so that is something I might have to take care of. I do have 10 more pairs of tires tho, so I could shave a few more sets, if that's 'legal'. Don't really want to open the wheels on the body, would mess up the paint plus not look 'right', but I will do whatever I have to do I guess. Ron (Bondo) Lonestar Racing and Resins |

Hey Bondo,
Your Pinto is really close and just barely hits the rails. The Chevy on the other hand, is definitely riding on top the rails. I can trim the tires for you if you want me to. If not I'll just run them like they are and see what happens. It's up to you.

Thanks. Go ahead and trim them, I'll look at it when I get it back to see if I need to do anything else. Oh, and when you send them back, if you remember, try to write down the distance of the rails on your track from the guide slot out, so I don't forget how wide everything needs to be when/if I rework the wheels.
