Hello race fans. Well nothing ever happens the way it seems like it should. Derwood and I had stuff come up for tomorrow, so we qualified the cars and raced them this afternoon. I'll post the qualifying now and do the write up for the races later. After the mail lady visited we still only had 20 cars.

Ok friends and neighbors, I want to start off by explaining how we grouped the cars and why. We had 20 cars so we tried to figure out how to do the ladders. We didn't want to have a 16 car class "A" and a 4 car class "B". We looked at the qual times and decided to run a 12 car "A" and a 8 car "B". We figured that would be ok since this isn't a official NTRA event and the Ohio Mafia usually does things the way they want to. ;D

First round of class "B" The first pair of racers faces the #13 qualifier from Voxxer (#28 red/white/blue Grand Am) against the #20 Qualifier of Eddiebee (#7 green/black Grand Am)  Voxxer wins with a 1.383 with a .553rt to Eddiebee's 1.678 with a .531rt. The win margin was .273 |

The second pair of round 1 faces the #15 qualifying Pinto of SKR (#5) against the #18 qualifier Fordcowboy in the red FarmAll mustang (#22)  Skr takes the win with a 1.477 and a .512rt over Fordcowboy's 1.596 and a .500rt. Win margin .107. sorry cowboy I tried. |

pair #3 faces the #17 qualifying Vega of nosubfor3 (#24) against the #16 qualifier, fordcowboys Nitro Deere Cougar (#23).  Fordcowboy takes the win with a 1.385 and a .503rt against nosubfor3's 1.563 and a .502 rt. Win margin is .182. |

The last pair of round 1 has Ninjatek running himself. #14 qualifying Jungle Jim Nova (#4) verses the #19 qualifying Grand Am (#3)  The win goes to the Nova with a 1.446 and a .524rt over the Grand Am's 1.528 and a .531rt. Win margin is .089 |

Round 2 The first pair has Voxxer's Grand Am against SKR's Pinto.  Voxxer takes the win with a 1.348 and a .521rt over SKR's 1.524 with a red light .494rt |

The second pair has Fordcowboys Cougar racing Ninja's Nova.  The cowboy takes the win with a 1.397 and a .504rt over Ninja's 1.433 and .510rt. Win margin is .042 |

Final round has the Grand Am of Voxxer and the Cougar of Fordcowboy. Voxxer ran a 1.348 in the last round. Fordcowboy ran a 1.397. This should be a good race.  Both cars run faster than the last round but the Grand Am picks up a lot. The Grand Am runs a 1.226 to the Cougars 1.368. The win margin is .151. Voxxer, congratulations on your class "B" win. |

With a 12 cars field the top 4 qualifiers get a Bye run in the first round. 1--- 10. Rick V. Grand Am RV Racing 2--- 9. Rick V. Vega Jungle Jim 3--- 16. Moby Mustang Blue Max 4--- 27. The next pair lines up the #5 qualifier, Woods mustang (#30) against the #12 qualifier, nosubfor3's USA-1 Camaro (#25). Here's your classic Ford Chevy battle.  Wood takes the win with a 1.163 and a .514rt vs Nosub's 1.315 and a red light .484rt. |

Next up is the #6 qualifier Bondoman's Grand Am (#13 yellow/red) vs #11 qualifier Voxxer's Grand Am (#29 yellow/ orange)  Voxxer wins on a holeshot. His slightly slower 1.207 and a .520rt beats Bondos quicker 1.194 with a .549rt. Win margin was just .016. That was the second closest race of the day. |
