Just a heads up if you are about to stock up on BSRT parts for the racing season. Lucky Bob's will not be carrying BSRT parts anymore. When he runs out of stock... he will be done with BSRT. LB still has a lot of BSRT stuff but you might want to call him before ordering. It's too bad! I think Lucky Bob's has some of the best service around. After reading what he put on his site about why he is done with BSRT, I would of done the same.  BSRT makes some of the best HO stuff around. Their parts and cars make for great hop ups and drag cars. I put up a BSRT link at the bottom of our home page for direct ordering. I'm sure they have their reasons as well and will continue to run their products. |

I'm really sorry to hear this. I've spent a lot of my non-existent retirement fund at Lucky Bob's on slot car parts, especially BSRT stuff. His service has always been first rate, and he has a good online ordering system so I can buy parts at 2 a.m. in a hotel room if I'm on the road. In contrast, ordering direct from BSRT is about as user-unfriendly as it gets -- no online cart, they only take orders for a few hours a day, closed on weekends, can't talk to a real person, etc. I've visited Lucky Bob's store several times on my travels to Milwaukee. It's a real slot car store, with half a dozen tracks and pegboards filled with parts. No way that he can pay the overhead on a 10 percent margin from BSRT.
