Well race fans the 2008 HOHRA Winter Nat's is in the book. Held at the beautyful PMS Drag O Way in St Louis, MO. As you can see we have some photo coverage by the Dog himself! The first photo is, after a rough nite with red lights Kdogs Torino fliped onto the camping area of track, knocking debris 100s of scale yards. This was not a staged photo, thankfully none of the little plastic folks were seriously hurt. Second photo my 3 rides in the center row, with Tim Ranch's 3 sweet cars in front, and our host's 3 car behind me. I should add my 63 Tempest Tameless Tiger won best in show, Congrats to Gary Mead who mastrered the resin body, and did the paint and decals, Your THE MAN. Third photo is the entire field (were not counting the guy that brought that Aztec Rail with green tires) only kidding. Last but not least our host for the evening Carl Schorle with his 2 weiner dog security team of Buster and the Herminator. Ok the race: The BIG winner was Rick Cantrell (owner of the River City Raceway Drag Strip) who took Top Qualifyer, & Top Eliminator for the evening along with claming his 07 trophy for winning the points championship for last season. I should mention just bairly beating Tim Ranch (the previous champ) and lucky John Schifco for the 07 season. Last nights runner up was Deadly Ned Clatyon whose car sailed by a bunch of fast cars for 2nd place The attendance was light at 10 guys 3 being new to us (comming from larger scale clubs). In the end a good time was had by all Kevin

Looks like you'all had a great night of racing. Rick Cantrell with the River City Raceway Drag Strip...is that HO scale or 1/24 or ? Carl, if it is the larger scale, doesn't that make him "The Big Dog"? Great looking group of cars.

Phil rick's drag strip is with the HOHRA HO club it's our full 1/4 mile strip, very cool but sometimes hard for me to see that far. As a side note Rick races a 1 to1 altered roadster in the Sourthen Missouri area, next time we are there I'll try to get a photo if it's together. K

Nice looking bunch of cars there in St. Louis. One of these days I'll have to find the time to do some of the other versions of the Tameless Tiger. I have a few other decal packages to do for that car but can't find time to get them done. Those decals take some time to build since 99% of the body is covered with decals. I recognize that little purple C6 in the front row too. Tim has the only one of those that I ever built.
