I am looking for a 66 or 67 Nova. Does anyone know where to get one?

Great tip on the Traxx Nova Sam, I just ordered a few. The orignal from AW sold out quickly, and I've seen them on eBay for over $50 Here is an Auto World with the dick Harrell, Nickey Chevrolet decals. Wouldn,t it have been sweet to walk into that Chicago Dealer in 1966, amd plop down the $1200 for a new 67 Nova.... Well a DOG can dream can't he ! I can almost feel my legs kicking now !

This is really nice. Is this body a clone of the AW Nova, or something different? It look like the fenders are longer and it fits the chassis better than the AW Nova, which is pretty tight on the front tires and wheels. Very nice work on the chrome trim and taillights, you must have a steady hand!
Thanks, Rick V.

I like the way that car looks Kiwi. Where did you get the cowl hood from?

I like the body too! VERY nice job! ;D Actually, there are a few ways to do a hood like that yourself. Multiple sheets of plastic 'stacked' and glued, then sanded to shape: or the second one would be to use a wheel weight from a 1 to 1 car and sand to shape, weights for pinewood derby cars or train weights may actually work ok too (lead actually sands pretty easy, plus this gives you added weight on the nose of the car..lol): or the third and easiest, use paint sticks or balsa wood, and cut and sand to shape. With paint sticks you may need to glue 2 or 3 pieces together to get the height you want. You'll probly need to fill a little with some putty of some kind. I actually have a couple hoods here from a diecast with cowl scoops, thinking about resin casting the scoops. Any interest in those scoops if I do? Ron (Bondo) Lonestar Racing and Resins

Not sure how close this body is to the AW Nova. I don't have one to compare sorry Rick. The cowl came from a diecast. I used clay as a mold then used bondo(I think that's what you guys call it?) to make the cowl!
