Are the two A/W 1957 corvette bodies pictured with in the spirit of the class? Thanks for the clarification. Looking forward to the race. Thanks for hosting it. Attachments:

I'd like to hear what everybody else thinks.
My feelings are, if we allow the Dash Cobra to race we have to let the vette on the left run also. The car on the right with the carbs through the hood might be a little too much.
Anyone else?

The one on the left is fine with me. Here is a Dash Cobra

I think the vette with carbs sticking thru hood would fit pro street class if it becomes a class. My .02 cents worth.

The Corvette drop top would look cool raceing the cobra. I agree with Swamper the Vette with the carbs popping through the hood should be another class. My vote Corvette drop top OK. Dual carb Vette thumbs down.

I think that the carbs through the hood is too much. There are plenty of other bodies to choose from. That would fall more under Pro Street.

Personally, I wouldn't have a problem with either, except that the carbs thru the hood on a 1 to 1 car would have been a 'modified' musclecar. No vehicle (at least that I'm aware of) ever had carbs sticking out of the hood coming straight from the factory. And, if we are going to stick to the description of a 'stock' musclecar, I agree that's too much. Now if it came with a 'factory' hood scoop to cover up those carbs, that would probly be ok, I would think. But then, who am I to 'judge'? LOL As the saying goes, "I just wanna race!" ;D Ron (Bondo) Lonestar Racing and Resins

I know no lowering of the bodies is allowed, but can I move the wheels closer to the center-line of the chassis? Thanks

ok great. Besides the polishing of the comm, no balancing or airgapping permitted right? does anyone have a good how-to on comm polishing?
