No video of this one Sam.......yet. It's a customers car and I am kind of reluctant to make another pass with it, especially with those numbers on the first pass. Don't want to break it! I May have to build one of these bullets for myself though.........only faster ( maybe in the 0.5's )! Possibly some video later.............

0.617 e.t.........with a 4gear!!!! Do the standard plastic gears survive this? I see ppl using poly motor mags, can they be just as fast as the neos? Edit: forgot to ask what voltage? 24V ? Wondering if when ppl post times they can include distance and volts (plus as many car specs as possible hehe)

Most gears are taken out from the violent nature of the stop ( catch ) at the end of the track. I've exploded my share of top plate and crown gears! I don't clean the tires before a run anymore. Surprizingly, most survive. If I went any hotter with the motors, they wouldn't.
20' 7.5" on 24v. 4ohm motor, w/poly mags. and braids.....no shunts.

Thanks Jim - gives me an idea of what to aim at, and (sort of ) how to get there.. My track is also a 1/64 Quarter (20'+), but I painted mine with black chalkboard paint. Yet to see if lack of traction will be an issue, but silly sponge tyres seem to hook up well on the inline chassis. I have a nice big rag sitting on my shutdown area to soften the "catch"

Are there any build-up posts on the 4 gear chassis?
Thanks
