Hi guys new member here.Used to run 1/24 drag but gettin tough to find a place to race anymore,besides you guys seem to be having more fun.Bought an Autoworld drag track and now I want timing.I'm hooked !!!

Welcome, I joined this month to. I also bought a Autoworld/NTB drag track. The forum has some info on building a timing system under (Cheap Timing sub title), again welcome.

Hey thanks Robert I'm looking for a power supply so I can pick up the pace like you guys. I saw the cheap timing systems on here and am going to try one out too.

Welcome Racer..I too bought an AW drag track,anyway get sign for the next race andjoin in all the fun, i too used to race 1/24,got tired of the high prices on parts to run any of the classes and tired of alot of drama at most tracks,anyway everybody here is awsome people,very helpful and these guys are very very good at what they do.and it deosnt bust your wallet,you will be very pleased to see how many HO drag cars can be done for the cost of one1/24 car. get signed up andstart having a blast.

Thanks Skr and scottman,I am looking around locally for some more guys who race ho,but not too many on Long Island. I only know of 1remaining 1/24 drag strip and it's an hour away. I talked to a guy locally who got me in touch with Steve Geary (Dr Hoe )and he set me on the right path. Now I just have to get a few more guys interested and I'll be all set. Would also maybe like to travel a little and see what everybody else is doing. Thanks again guys.

Hey Racer. Welcome. Long Island has it's fair share of HO maniacs. Yoy will find them soon enough. I am right over the OuterBridge in Jersey. We are heading to Skippack PA this coming sat for the 1st of 2 events they run there for strict HO Dragging. You are of coarse welcme to come hang, race or whatever!!! There will be cars available to run if you'd like to go that route. Personally, the november race was my first, I went with no cars, borrowed a car from one of the top dogs and actually won with his car. Thats it, I am now HOOKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
