They are actually like a White Lightning in the Johnny Lightning diecast, or similar to a Treasure Hunt in the Hot Wheels line. They are limited. Exact numbers I don't know, but they don't show up all that often in cases. Basically, they can be referred to as "Chase Cars'. There are guys out there that try to collect every one of these that they can. Some of the 'early' ones that go back to the JL Thunderjet 500 releases have become HIGHLY sought after, and sometimes command a pretty good buck. They are VERY 'distinctive' from a regular issue and easy to spot. They have a pearl white body, white chassis, white rubber tires, and chrome wheels. And, if you ever spot one at stores for the 'retail' price, they are always a good investment to sell, or trade for things you may need, since as I said, there are guys out there that look specifically for these. Other than that, I don't know all the details about these things.
And, if they hadn't sold, I was even considering using some of the parts on a few of my Doorslammer cars. I LOVE the chrome wheels, and the white chassis would even look good under the 'right' paint job.
