The NF/C rule says .550 max size on rear tires. It does not say you can change the stock wheels. Please correct if I'm wrong. I have the wizzard PVT 05 large silicone .150 wide, .500 OD before mounted. I got these from Lucky Bobs, mounted the grow to .590 which makes them illegal. Someone on the site said they got S301 drag tires from Jag Hobbies what size are these mounted. I don't want to waste money on tires I won't use. How about some advice on size of tire mounted and where you get them. I know in this class playing with the tire size is important. Not to sure about what gears fit from Tjet or Magnatraction to 4Gear still looking into that.

You do not have to run the stock 4-gear wheels.

Thanks for the info. I switched wheels to what you said and mounted the PVT 05 tires I already had. Took a measurement .525" is the size. Went out and tested the car and ran 1.446 the car gets faster with every pass. My track is Autoworld drag strip so I figure I should be in the 1.3's on a really nice track not the fastest, but should be competitive based on last years times. Thank you Matt for your help.
